Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

(Apologies if you are getting this message twice as I got an error message and I know some didn't receive my message so sending this again)

Dear Members

It has come to my attention that there has been another spate of criminal damages to vehicles parked on the street in Wigston. This occurred over night between Friday 24th Jan to Saturday 25th Jan. The areas of where we have received damage reports to motor vehicles are Amesbury Road, Seaton Road, Long Street and Davenport Road. The reports all state that wind screen wipers were damaged.

Could I please request those who have CCTV in the area and have been a victim of this crime to contact us if you haven’t yet contacted us. Those who have Dashcam installed in your vehicle please could you check this as some dashcams do have a parking option (Only if activated) where it will start recording when it senses movement so again if there is any recordings please let us know.

You can email us with any pictures or video footage to SouthleicesterNPA@leicestershire.pnn.police.uk

Alternatively reply back to my message if you need any help with this matter.

Thank you for your support.
