Hello Rutland North,

I have been privaleged enough to attend two local community engagement events on the beat in the past two days, (in between attending incidents and always being on hand for any emergency, or call for service if required). 

I was at Langham Primary School Summer PFA Fayre yesterday and Whissendine Village Fete today. Two absolutely fantastically attended events that were extremely worthwhile for the local beat officer to attend for tens, if not hundreds of face to face interactions and conversations with residents who live on my beat. Thank you to everyone who came and spoke with me, it was great to put faces to names as well for people who correspond through this platform. 

A big thank you for the invite and to the organisers for having me. 

I am aware of other local engagement events on the beat recently, at Greetham and Cottesmore and although I would love to get to each and every one, I've got to ensure that I am still dealing with my investigations, keeping on top of my workload and the priorities that you want me to be focusing on.
