Since the last Neighbourhood watch brief we have had one report of the theft of a vehicle in Hambleton Close, Oakham. Incident appears to be keyless entry theft. One suspect currently helping Police with their enquires. This incident occurred in the early hours of 18/02/2019.
One report of criminal damage in Wooton Close, Ketton. Unknown person(s) have slashed vehicle tyres. This incident occurred between 18/02/2019 22:00 & 19/02/2019 11:05.
One report of criminal damage in Parkfield Rd, Oakham. Unknown person(s) have scratched vehicle paintwork from front to rear. This incident occurred between 19/02/2019 23:00 & 20/02/2019 05:00.
One report of a burglary residential to a secure garage in Oakham Rd, Preston. Unknown person(s) have gained entry by removing roof tiles and taken property. This incident occurred between 19/02/2019 09:00 & 20/02/2019 15:30.
One report of theft in Oakham Rd, Preston. Unknown person(s) have taken vehicle parts from driveway. This incident occurred between 23/02/2019 21:30 & 23/02/2019 21:49.
One report of criminal damage in Leicester Rd, Uppingham. Unknown person(s) have caused damage to vehicle bonnet and roof. This incident occurred between 23/02/2019 22:00 & 24/02/2019 09:00.
One report of theft in Pinfold Lane, North Luffenham. Unknown person(s) have removed vehicles number plates. This incident occurred between 25/02/2019 23:00 & 26/02/2019 06:00.
One report of a burglary residential to a secure garage in Fairfield Close, Langham. Unknown person(s) have gained entry by forcing a lock and tools taken. This incident occurred between 26/02/2019 18:00 & 27/02/2019 15:55.

Try out our new website - Visitors to the Leicestershire Police website are now be able to test drive our new look website. The new website, also known as the Single Online Home (SOH), can be accessed from the homepage of the current force website and selecting ‘Try out our new website’ link.
A number of transactional and information services are available on the new website and are as follows:
Fingerprints - Provides a triage function which asks the member of public a series of questions to establish if they are eligible to have their fingerprints taken based on a number of factors such as nationality and purpose of request. If eligible, the member of public will be able to make and cancel bookings online by filling out a form.
Missing Persons - An information service which directs the member of the public to take the best course of action regarding a missing person. Based on the outcome of answering a series of questions, the user will be prompted to call 101 or 999.
Watch Schemes - Information page and new content about local and national watch schemes and how to join.
Request DV Offender data (Clare’s Law) - An updated version of our current process where the member of public can download a form and email it through to relevant address. All information on what is needed and how to do this will be on the website.
Report Terrorist Activity - An online form to report terrorist activity which once submitted is sent directly to the Met Police/Special Branch.
Compensation for victims of crime - Information for victims of crime on how to apply for court awarded compensation and the criminal injuries compensation scheme.
Request Counter Terrorist Advice - A form primarily for businesses to request counter terrorist advice from Leicestershire Police Special Branch.
Over the coming weeks we will continue to add new services and information to the new website.
The new website will be fully live in late March and will replace our exiting force website. We will continue to add more content and services to the website including an improved online crime reporting service, nationally consistent crime prevention information, anti-social behaviour reporting and much more.
By enabling people to do more online we are improving our service to the public and providing alternative and convenient methods of contacting the police.
