Eid Mubarak to all our Muslim Members celebrating Eid

Alert message sent 24/05/2020 14:37:00

Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

Eid Mubarak to all of our Muslim communities who are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr today. The term Eid-ulFitr means “festival of breaking the fast”, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
However, this time the celebrations stand cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. But despite
the negatives, this year's Ramadan has been unique and different, especially under lockdown. It is
thanks to social media and video calling that many of us have been able to stay in touch with our
family and friends, bringing us closer together.

Wherever you are have a blessed day and StaySafe.
