Suspicious activity

Alert message sent 22/03/2020 15:01:00

Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

Report, Report, Report

Please can I remind everyone if you see anything suspicious in your area, PLEASE call 101 (non-emergency) or 999.
During these testing times it is great that people pull together to help each other when in need, so please keep a look out for each other and ensure you report any suspicious activity to the Police as and when you see it.

This enables us to respond and protect our community. We will be continuing our patrols night and day but the help you can offer with extra eyes and ears is invaluable.
Information that really helps us include vehicle descriptions, registrations, number of people, description of people such as age, build, height and direction of travel. PLEASE call 999 immediately if you believe a crime is happening.

As I have been speaking to residents over the last few weeks and it has become apparent that we have lots of residents (normally elderly) that don’t use the Internet nor have Email addresses.

This is where I would ask that you help family and neighbours by keeping them up to date not only during this difficult time but also going forward. The information and advice given by Neighbourhood link can prevent residents from becoming victims of all sorts of crime including scams which the elderly and vulnerable can get targeted for.
You could either call, text or print the newsletters/emails we produce.

All the information we put out is to raise awareness, prevent crime and protect victims.

Please encourage people to sign up, share and discuss the information we are providing to help each other.

Kind regards,

Darren 6035
