Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

Quick update regarding crime this week. We have suffered several theft of motor vehicles in Burbage this week. There has been no particular pattern in offences or types of vehicle. As general advise,

PLEASE ensure your vehicle is locked.
Try and put your vehicle in a garage.
If you have a house alarm, ensure it is set even if you go out in the daytime.
Keep your doors locked to stop criminals walking in and taking the keys.
Try to park your vehicle where there is CCTV.
Try and make your property look occupied whenever you are not in.

Visit for more support.

If you have any CCTV or information regarding and incidents then please get in touch. We have been continuing with patrols in the area and additional activity to stop this type of crime. I have also been collating details of residents with CCTV to help support with investigations. If we have not already spoken to you and you have CCTV, please drop me a message and I will add you to our list. You can also do this on the Neighbourhood Link site on the options.

Kind regards,
