Thefts from sheds in Birstall

Alert message sent 07/02/2020 11:25:00

Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

Dear Recipient,

In the last few days we've had 2 reports of sheds being entered and bicycles being stolen in Cliffwood Avenue and Copeland Road in Birstall. If you own a shed, secure it with a good quality lock and if possible, ensure that any expensive items stored within it are also locked up to provide an extra level of security. Remember to also ensure that gates are locked and fences are maintained in good order to stop people being able to access the rear of your property in the first place. Many thanks.

The Birstall & Wanlip Policing Team.
