Victoria Street Incident

Good Evening residents,

Our investigation team are appealing for witnesses for the recent incident on Victoria Street:

Detectives are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in Loughborough last week.

The incident happened at around 8.20pm on Thursday (30 January) when a man in his thirties was stabbed in Victoria Street close to the junction with Bedford Street.

Officers and the East Midlands Ambulance Service attended the scene and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains a stable condition.

Two Loughborough men aged 20 and 21 have been arrested on suspicion of section 18 wounding with intent and have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

A number of enquiries have been carried out since the assault and officers are appealing for anyone who may have any information about the incident or the people responsible to get in touch.

This information no matter how significant it could seem could be essential to the investigation so please contact us.
