Bogus Police

Alert message sent 12/12/2019 16:39:00

Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

Good evening

We are aware of several incidents reported where victims including the elderly are receiving calls from BOGUS Police Officers.

These Bogus Police Officers are very convincing, will tell you there has been a fraud on your bank account, confuse you and will ask for Bank details. Once you give them your bank details, they will steal all your money.

Please remember - The Police would never ask you for your bank details or pin numbers. DO NOT GIVE THEM OUT TO ANYONE! If you receive one of these calls, terminate the call and report.

Please also take precautions - Contact your service provider and Block Nuisance calls.
