CCTV resulted in Burglar being arrested

Alert message sent 23/11/2019 18:23:00

Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

Dear Members

You local officers have recently been involved in checking CCTV evidence of an Attempt Burglary on CORK Lane a few days ago. Four suspects were recently going around on foot around 3am trying car and house handles around Glen Parva and Clarendon Park.

Local officers were able to identify one of the males who is known to us from the CCTV. The officers then collated the evidence we have and arrested the suspect who was seen on CCTV for this offence and all the link offences.

During the arrest of the suspect a search was conducted in the address where we found the clothes in his room and keys to a Vauxhall and Mercedes vehicle. This is still under investigation but is a great result for us thanks to the CCTV evidence that was provided to us.
