Since the last Neighbourhood watch brief we have had one report of criminal damage in Horn Lane, Empingham. Unknown person(s) have damaged a large amount of crops by driving through them. This incident occurred between 10/02/2019 19:00 & 11/02/2019 07:00.
One report of a burglary residential to a shed in Knossington Rd, Braunston. Unknown person(s) have forced entry but nothing taken. This incident occurred between 15/02/2019 07:00 & 15/02/2019 13:00.
One report of theft in Wing Hall Drive, Wing. Unknown person(s) have taken a caravan from a park site. This incident occurred between 10/12/2018 12:00 & 11/12/2018 08:00.
One report of theft in Braunston Rd, Brooke. Unknown person(s) have taken a trailer from farm yard. This incident occurred between 14/02/2019 20:00 & 16/02/2019 07:00.
One report of criminal damage in Cottesmore Rd, Exton. Unknown person(s) have damaged rear vehicle windscreen. This incident occurred between 16/02/2019 13:00 & 16/02/2019 14:30.
One report of criminal damage in Stapleford Rd, Whissendine. Unknown person(s) have damaged a barbwire fence and hedge. This incident occurred between 14/02/2019 00:00 & 15/02/2019 23:59.
Two reports of theft of vehicles from Stamford Rd & Hambleton Close, Oakham. Both incidents appear to be keyless entry thefts. One suspect detained and currently helping Police with their enquires. These incidents occurred in the early hours of 18/02/2019.
Beat Surgery at Barrowden Community Shop on 23rd February between 11:00 & 12:00.
Beat Surgery at Uppingham Town Hall on 26th February between 18:30 & 19:30.
Beat Surgery at Whitwell Harbour on 5th March between 10:30 & 11:30.
Beat Surgery at Costa Coffee, Oakham on 13th March between 10:00 & 11:00.

Refresher Driving Courses - Rutland County Council is offering refresher driving theory courses aimed at drivers in Rutland. These courses are for Rutland residents who would like to update their knowledge as well as learn how to drive more safely and efficiently.  The courses are currently free for Rutland residents and cost £30 for non-residents. They consist of a 21/2 hour theory discussion and a voucher for a one hour practical session with a local driving instructor at a later date.
The next courses are being held at our offices in Oakham on the following dates:
  • 1st March, 10.00am to 12.30pm
  • 15th March, 10.00am to 12.30pm
  • 18th March, 1.30pm to 4.00pm
  • 22nd March, 1.30pm to 4.00pm
