Theft

August 7th (10:00) – August 8th (21:00): Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray – copper strips stolen from building.

August 8th (20:20): Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray – known suspects steal 2 bottles of Cava from supermarket.

August 10th (13:07-13:07): Sherrard Street, Melton Mowbray – 2 males enter retail premises and steal slimming products.

August 10th (13:01 – 14:01): Nottingham Street, Melton Mowbray – 2 males steal game from retail premises.

August 10th (13:01 – 14:33): Market Place, Melton Mowbray – 2 males steal hair products to the value of £102.  They are subsequently arrested.

August 10th (10:00 – 16:30): Cheapside, Melton Mowbray – known male steals items from retail premises.

August 10th (12:00 – 15:00): Scalford Road, Melton Mowbray – male steals 2 dog collars from retail premises.

August 10th (12:00-15:00): Scalford Road, Melton Mowbray – male steals items from supermarket.

August 11th (12:26): Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray – known male steals items to the value of £80 from a supermarket.

August 13th (18:32): Thorpe Road, Melton Mowbray – diesel stolen from a petrol station.

August 14th (09:35 – 10:00): Nottingham Street, Melton Mowbray – purse stolen from rucksack.

August 12th (00:54) – August 13th (12:04): Harby Lane, Plungar – batteries for electric fencing stolen from a farm.

August 13th (12:04): Leicester Road, Melton Mowbray - £20 worth of fuel stolen from petrol station.

August 14th (16:45): Market Place, Melton Mowbray – unknown suspect steals £300 worth of DVD’s from a retail premises.

August 15th (14:55 – 15:15): Greenslade, Melton Mowbray – camera left in a box on a bicycle was stolen whilst bike left in foyer.

August 14th (23:00) – August 15th (18:00): King Street, Melton Mowbray – television stolen from garden of public house.

August 16th (02:40): Thorpe Road, Melton Mowbray – 2 bottles of brandy stolen from supermarket.

August 15th (09:48): Scalford Road, Melton Mowbray – known male steals confectionery from retail premises.

Vehicle crime

August 11th (11:30 – 12:30): Waltham Rise, Melton Mowbray – tools stolen from secure van.

August 10th (11:41) – August 11th (12:41): St Mary’s Way, Melton Mowbray – tools stolen from secure van.

August 4th (20:16) – August 6th (09:17): Tennyson Way, Melton Mowbray – radio stolen from secure van.

August 14th (00:45 -00:48): Longhedge Lane, Bottesford – door stolen from van.

August 14th (19:00) – August 15th (06:20): chapel Street, Melton Mowbray – vehicle parked in resident’s car park. Car broken into and items stolen.

August 16th (04:07): Victoria Street, Melton Mowbray – suspects disturbed trying to break into van are seen to be driving off in a silver car (possibly a SAAB).

Burglary non-dwelling

August 8th (23:00) – August 9th (06:45): Station Road, Old Dalby – persons unknown have tried to gain entry to a container.

August 14th (02:16): Welby Lane, Melton Mowbray – post office broken into and cigarettes and cash stolen from premises.

Burglary – dwelling

August 8th (02:00) – August 9th (06:00): Doctors Lane, Melton Mowbray – property broken into and items stolen.

August 15th (06:29): Oak Road, Melton Mowbray – outhouse broken into but nothing stolen.

Criminal Damage

August 8th (00:00) – August 9th (13:15): Drummond Walk, Melton Mowbray – garden wall sprayed with white paint.

August 15th (06:29): Oak Road, Melton Mowbray – cycle lock cable securing gates cut, nothing further done.
