Do you have a Noise Nuisance Complaint

Alert message sent 02/08/2018 17:40:00

Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

Dear Members of Oadby, Wigston and South Wigston.

Hello, Hope you all are well. I have been told by a colleague who is responsible for all the calls that we get relating to Anti-social Behaviour. Most of the complaints are noise related which I would like to spend a moment to reflect on other ways of reporting and tackling this problem using other partners. Unfortunately the Police cannot attend all noise related incidents and I would encourage members to firstly get in touch with the Oadby & Wigston Council to address the issue as they also can deal with these types of complaints. Unless there is evidence of someone in danger such as a domestic taking place and you can hear excessive shouting, screaming or hear obvious signs of violence then it would be a good time to call the Police.

Please take a moment and visit the link below

This council page has a wide range of information with downloadable leaflets that can put you in the right direction. To report noise there is a button "Report a New Noise Complaint". This will take you straight to the correct page to make a report. "It really is that simple".

Please keep the above link saved onto your desktop bookmarks of your Internet browser so you can easily access the page as you never know when you need it!.

Stay Safe
