👋 NL65 Loughborough East Beat Update
I wanted to share a quick round-up of some of the things I've been involved in over this set of shifts.
Over the past few days, I've spent time supporting colleagues by helping to staff a cordon at a crime scene on North Road, while also carrying out CCTV enquiries at several locations across the beat to assist with ongoing investigations.
I've been out and about on foot patrol in some of our priority areas, including Moor Lane, Charnwood Water and the Bell Foundry Estate. These patrols are a great opportunity to provide a visible presence, speak with residents and get a better understanding of any concerns affecting our communities.
I also attended the Hello Help Hub at Fearon Hall, where it was great to chat with local people and partner agencies about the support and services available in the area.
Away from the beat, I attended two days of College of Policing training to continue developing my skills and knowledge, helping me provide the best possible service to our communities.
Finally, I spent time staffing the Op Nocturnal ASB car, focusing on reports of firework-related anti-social behaviour. This issue can have a significant impact on residents, especially young children, elderly people and pet owners, so we have been carrying out patrols and responding to concerns raised by the community.
Thank you to everyone who has stopped to say hello, shared information with us, or taken the time to report issues. Your support and engagement really does help us identify problems and target our patrols where they're needed most.
Stay safe and enjoy the rest of your week.
