Now that the nights are drawing in, as your local beat team, we have noticed an increase in vehicles in our area being broken into and items taken.

Reports are being actively investigated by our teams however here are some tips to prevent your car being broken into:

Park vehicles in well lit areas including the coverage of CCTV.

Remove all belongings from footwells, back seats or visible areas.

If you notice that your vehicle has been tampered with or has been broken into, please report it to us online or via 101.
