Youths Anti soacial behaviour in Coalville Town. |

Dear Residents We are receiving an increased number of reports regarding groups of youths gathering in the town centre, including the Belvoir Shopping Centre, Marlborough Square, and McDonald's areas.
While it is positive to see young people socialising and enjoying their time with friends, anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. We have received reports of issues including nuisance behaviour, cycling through pedestrian areas, and members of the public being subjected to rude or intimidating behaviour.
Please be aware that reports are being made to the police and will be investigated. Where individuals are identified, they can expect a visit from local officers and, where appropriate, further action may be taken.
We would also ask parents and guardians to know where their children are and what they are doing. The town centre is a busy environment, and riding bikes through pedestrianised areas can pose a risk to both riders and members of the public.
We want everyone to be able to enjoy the town centre safely and respectfully. We will continue to patrol these locations and work with partner agencies to address any concerns raised by the community.
If you witness anti-social behaviour, please report it to the police via 101, online, or 999 in an emergency.
