Dear Neighbourhood Link Member, Here is a update on neighbourhood policing in the Narborough, Enderby, littlethorpe and New Lubbesthorpe and Fosse park area . Crime Report We are focusing on the darker nights drawing in and prioritising burglary patrols. We have local drop in sessions to give advice on crime prevention and items to help secure your property or protect yourself. the local drop in sessions are listed below or you could contact your local beat team via the police website.The beat team are also focusing on Antisocial behaviour in the area , doing general patrols around Hotspot areas and dealing with E-Bikes and E-Scooters that are causing a nuisance, as well as General ASB reported to us. Crime Prevention Advice The beat team have been and will continue to run local drop in sessions at local community spaces and Fosse park shopping centre. These drop in sessions allow officers to hear your concerns first hand and share practical crime prevention advice. We have lots of leaflets , advice and tools for all crime prevention , including alarms, timers , locks and Faraday pouches for the protection of your home and property. We also have marking kits to protect your Bikes if needed. What have the neighbourhood team been doing? Patrols have been focused in and around the Narborough and Enderby area re Young people causing Anti social behaviour at the Council offices and Narborough park and enderby village re E-scooters and young people kicking doors on the king street area , all young people have been identified and spoken to as well as warning letters given out. The local team continues to prioritize the protection and support of vulnerable residents through targeted welfare visits and direct community engagement. Officers have actively engaged with individuals across the beat working alongside partner agencies to ensure their safety and connect with them with appropriate health and social care services. The team will continue to maintain high visibility over the coming months across identified hotspot areas such as Tay road re road traffic issues, Enderby village re parking and Narborough and Littlethorpe re Anti-social behaviour. We will endeavour to reassure the local community where needed. This is just a selection of what the neighbourhood team have been doing, we have also been completing crime investigations, visible patrolling including 'hot spot' areas and engaging with residents and businesses in the area.
