It started as a routine patrol for Belgrave Neighbourhood officers....engaging with residents and providing a visible presence, the officers were approached by a member of the public who appeared distressed. What began as a simple conversation quickly revealed something far more concerning!🚩👀 

The individual disclosed that they were being exploited and in need of help. Recognising the seriousness of the situation, officers immediately took action. The victim was safeguarded, supported, and reassured that they were not alone. 🛡️
Working swiftly to gather information and assess the risks, officers were able to identify those responsible.
As a result, the suspects, who were also wanted by police, were located and arrested!

This incident is a powerful reminder of the impact neighbourhood policing can have. A victim found the confidence to speak up, officers were there to listen, and decisive action was taken to protect someone from harm.

Not every success story begins with a blue light response. Sometimes, it starts with a conversation on the street. 💙
