*SOUTH RUTLAND - MANTON RESIDENTS*
Hi Rutland,
I'm aware of a number of issues in the village of Manton this evening following a teenage birthday party that sadly became unmanageable owing to gatecrashers, resulting in groups of youths, some very drunk roaming around the village and causing a nuisance.
PCSO Lyall and I have attended and dispersed people, the overwhelming majority of which were respectful and just trying to get collected to go home.
Sadly though, as is often the case a small minority of people have spoiled it for the wider group.
I would like to personally thank members of the community who came out to assist our efforts this evening, I am very grateful for your support, and I completely understand your frustrations.
There will be a wider investigation into the issues and we will be working with our partners to identify anybody suspected of any offences identified.
Could I ask that any residents in Manton who discover anything during daytime hours that constitutes a crime having taken place, to report this through the usual channels, and I will pick up the investigations as they come through.

Could I also ask that if any residents have any CCTV or other video footage, be that phone cameras or ring doorbells etc, that they contact me directly. My details are on the force website.
