Drug Seizure

Today, PC Callum and PC Merryn were out on patrol carrying out enquiries relating to crimes allocated within the local crime queue.

As part of these enquiries, officers attended an address within the area where a significant quantity of controlled medication was discovered and subsequently seized. In total, approximately 30,000 individual Pregabalin capsules were recovered.

This seizure forms part of a larger ongoing investigation involving multiple agencies, including Border Force, highlighting the continued collaborative efforts being made to tackle the supply and distribution of illegal drugs and protect our communities from harm.

Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, we are unable to provide further details at this time. However, this result demonstrates the proactive work being undertaken by local officers and partner agencies to disrupt criminal activity and keep our neighbourhoods safe.
