Residents are reminded that Aylestone Road remains closed between 7:00pm and 6:00am each night until 15 September to allow essential works to take place.

✅ Diversions are in place and clearly signposted to help motorists navigate around the closure.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while these important works are completed. Please allow extra time for your journeys, particularly during the evening and early morning hours.

With online shopping continuing to grow, fraudsters are increasingly attempting to exploit residents through fake delivery texts, emails, and phone calls.

Remember:

Do not provide banking details following an unsolicited message.

Verify delivery updates through official retailer or courier websites.

Stay Alert to Rogue Traders

Be cautious of unexpected callers offering home repairs, driveway work, roofing services, or gardening work.

Always seek recommendations and multiple quotes.

Never feel pressured into making an immediate decision.

Ask for identification and check credentials.

If something doesn't feel right, trust your instincts and report concerns.
