NL65 Loughborough East Beat Area

It's been a short two-day set of shifts for me this week, but before I head home for some rest days, I wanted to provide residents with a quick update on one of our beat priorities and the action that has been taken in the last day or so.

You Said: You were concerned about drug dealing, cuckooing and drug-related anti-social behaviour within our beat area.

 We Did: Officers have been carrying out proactive patrols and acting on information provided by members of the public.

As a result:

• A male was arrested in the Rockingham Road area in connection with a number of shop theft offences and was further arrested for possession of Class B drugs.

• A second male was arrested in the Tuckers Road area on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

We understand the significant impact that drug-related activity can have on our communities and will continue to work proactively to identify those involved, safeguard vulnerable individuals and take positive action where offences are identified.
