Burglaries

Good Afternoon,

We are experiencing a few burglaries across North West Leicestershire at the moment.  The method of entry is by smashing windows/glass in doors at the rear of properties.  The offenders are then targeting jewelry once inside.

Whilst there is only so much you can do to secure your home, please be mindful to close windows when going out, however tempting it is to leave them open in the hot weather as there are clearly people around looking to take advantage.

Where possible secure jewelry in a safe or secure location within the house.

If you see anyone suspicious please report to Leicestershire Police via 101 or 999 as appropriate.
