You Said: Retail crime is one of Coalville Beat's priorities.

We Did: Whilst on patrol yesterday, I spotted a known shoplifter who was wanted for a number of shop thefts in Coalville Town Centre.

There was one small problem... he was on a bike and I was on foot! 🚲🏃

Thankfully, with assistance from response colleagues and the Neighbourhood priority team, we were able to keep up with him and bring things to a swift conclusion. 

The wanted male's getaway attempt came to an abrupt end when he cycled straight into a step and fell off his bike, allowing officers to stop him in his tracks.
