Businesses and their staff are often victims of crime. Shoplifting offences in England and Wales have risen to a 20-year high, according to official figures. And nearly half of retail staff surveyed say they are attacked or abused once a week. It is an issue that not only damages businesses but impacts individuals’ safety and wellbeing.
We developed Neighbourhood Safety Training as part of our commitment to the Community Safety Charter and building communities where crime cannot thrive.
The training is free and designed specifically to support local businesses. Online modules include:
Harassment ASB Personal safety Retail crime Another module on hate crimes is coming soon.
