Heather Scarecrow Festival Opening Day

It was a pleasure for the Bardon Beat team to attend the opening day of the Heather Scarecrow Festival yesterday and see the fantastic effort that has gone into this year's event.

The creativity and dedication shown by residents, community groups and local businesses was evident in the brilliant range of scarecrows displayed throughout the village. It was clear just how much hard work had gone into making the festival such a success.

The atmosphere was equally impressive, with a real sense of community spirit as neighbours came together and visitors enjoyed exploring the village. It was wonderful to see the community at its best and to be part of such a positive local event.

A big thank you to everyone involved in organising and supporting the festival. We thoroughly enjoyed attending and wish the festival every success over the coming days.
