Donington Vehicle ASB – Working Together for a Safer Village

Yesterday, the #ValleyBeatTeam chaired the second planning meeting with partner agencies such as NWLDC and the Highways Department.

I'm pleased to say that a number of actions have come from these meetings, and we are now getting closer to implementing the tactics and strategies discussed.

Further to the above, I can also confirm that PSPO tickets are being issued and, today alone, 19 have been issued to those causing the issues.

There are more in the process of being issued, so stay tuned for further updates.

Whilst we understand that these issues have been going on for a long time now, the work we are currently undertaking is a step closer to tackling them, and a lot of planning is going on behind the scenes.

For now, though, we will keep banging the drum and using proactive tactics to enforce the new no-warning seizures under the revised Section 59 of the Police Reform Act.
