Beat team update

🚔 Good Evening Braunstone and Rowley Fields Residents,

Tonight, it has been PCSOs Julie and Beth holding the fort! 👮‍♀️👮‍♀️

Our evening began with a visit to KFC on Narborough Road, where we obtained CCTV footage and completed statements in relation to an assault on members of staff. 📹📝

We then assisted colleagues on New Parks Way following a road traffic collision. 🚗💥 We were tasked with urgently obtaining CCTV footage to assist with enquiries relating to this incident.

Following this, we carried out hotspot patrols as part of Operation Habitual, our joint partnership initiative with Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service. 🚔🚒

Operation Habitual is a joint initiative between Leicestershire Police and Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service aimed at reducing deliberate fires, anti-social behaviour, and associated community harm during the summer months. The operation focuses on visible engagement, prevention, reassurance, and early intervention within identified hotspot locations across the neighbourhood policing area.

We also attended a report of anti-social behaviour involving a motorbike being ridden in an anti-social manner on Corefield Rise, Braunstone. 🏍️⚠️
