Westcotes Weekly Update |
||
|
Westcotes Neighbourhood Officers have continued targeted patrols and enforcement activity across the area this week in response to ongoing community concerns.
Officers attended Norfolk House alongside Leicester City Council as part of a joint partnership approach to tackle persistent issues affecting residents. This work is already having a positive impact, with agencies working together to identify those responsible for causing harm within the community. Concerns raised by residents are being listened to and acted upon, and further action will continue where necessary.
Dedicated high-visibility patrols have also been carried out at Ashleigh Gardens following repeated reports of anti-social behaviour. Officers have been conducting regular checks of the area, speaking with residents, gathering intelligence, and identifying individuals involved.
Westcotes officers additionally assisted with scene preservation duties on behalf of another NPA to support them.
Patrols were also conducted at the Orton Square Country Festival to provide reassurance, maintain a visible policing presence, and ensure the event remained safe and enjoyable for all attendees.
We will continue to take a proactive approach in tackling crime, anti-social behaviour, and issues affecting our communities. Information provided by the public remains vital, and we encourage residents to continue reporting concerns to us.
Thank You Westcotes Beat
