🚨 Weekly Policing Round-Up – Leicester City Beat 🚨

It’s been another proactive week for your local officers – here’s a snapshot of the work carried out to keep our communities safe 👇

👮‍♂️ PC Karl secured a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO), which was quickly breached. The offender was arrested and has now been sentenced to 8 weeks’ imprisonment ✅

👮‍♀️ Town Hall Square Activity
Officers have continued strong proactive patrols in the square, carrying out stop searches and arrests linked to drug offences 💊🚫

👮‍♂️ PC Tom responded swiftly to reports of a young person carrying a machete. After a foot chase, the individual was detained and arrested 🔪🏃‍♂️
➡️ They have since been bailed pending further enquiries

🤝 Community Engagement

👮 PC Georgie made an arrest for possession with intent to supply (PWITS). The individual has since been charged with possession offences ⚖️

PC Ellis has been engaging with student accommodation providers to prepare for the next academic term 🎓

Officers have been working closely with local housing officers to manage ongoing issues relating to a problematic resident on the beat 🤝
