Priority 1—Anti-Social Behaviour—Off-Road bikes in Shepshed Hi-visibility patrols are continuing in areas of Shepshed following reports of off-road bikes being ridden. Priority 2—Drug Dealing The Beat Team have recently supported housing partners with the eviction of a tenant at an address in Loughborough, following the execution of a drugs warrant at the property linked to drug activity. A further drugs warrant was carried out at an address in Hathern. No items were located and no arrests were made on this occasion. In addition, the Beat Team have worked alongside Charnwood Borough Council to secure a partial closure order at an address in Loughborough, relating to drug dealing and associated anti-social behaviour. Priority 3—Retail theft A local male has been convicted of 11 shop theft offences in Shepshed. He has received a suspended sentence order along with a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO). A second male has also been convicted for a shop theft in Shepshed and has been issued a compensation order. In addition, a local female has been charged in relation to three shop theft offences in Loughborough. |
