Cultural Quarter Weekly Round Up |
||
|
Good afternoon,
Another busy set on the Cultural Quarter beat, have a read below at what the team have been up to: Cultural Quarter Weekly Round up
PCSOs Bec and Brad undertook some specialist problem solving training giving them the skills and advice to support the community with long term solutions. Continuous learning is how we develop new strategies and share positive experiences.
PC Sara has been working in partnership with Leicester City Council collating evidence towards enforcement activity at Lee Circle Car Park. We continue to receive calls of sporadic car meets which causes alarm and distress to residents in the area.
PCSO Brad attended the Centre Project engaging with young people through sports and boxing. This is an ongoing project helping to instil trust between the police and the communities we serve.
PS Cross and PC Stewart teamed up with our priority team carrying out proactive work in our drug dealing hotspots. Several stop searches were conducted and one male was arrested for possession with intent to supply after a significant amount of Class B drugs were located.
PCSO 6187 seized an illegal e-bike which was throttle powered and exceeded the legal speed limit. We would encourage anyone looking to purchase an electric bike or conversion kit to check the manufacturers remarks against the current law which can be found on the government website.
PC Wilson and Proctor have been carrying out targeted and proactive patrols in our hotspot areas which have been identified by our community through Neighbourhood Link.
Kind Regards
PCSO 6628 Bec Sanders | ||
