Officers yesterday assisted Trading Standards as part of an operation targeting the sale of counterfeit goods at Measham carboot sale.
A male was arrested for offences under the Trade Marks Act relating to the possession and supply of counterfeit items. He was taken into police custody with trading standards taking the lead on the investigation.
Counterfeit goods not only undermine legitimate businesses but can also pose a risk to public safety. We will continue to work with partner agencies to tackle this type of crime.
