UPDATE and Beat Surgery - New Parks Library : Tue 12 May 16:00

Dear Western Ward Residents;

I will be at New Parks Library at 16:00 on Tuesday 12 May 2026 for a Beat Surgery.

Thanks to all of the residents who have attended recent Beat Surgeries at the Library. Thanks to your efforts, I have:

Tackled instances of anti-social behaviour;

Performed welfare checks on vulnerable members of the community;

Dealt with parking issues that have also damaged public land.

I am keen to do more to tackle issues raised such as:

e-Scooters and e-Bikes;

Rogue Traders. People are buying vans with logos on the side, and are using them to target vulnerable people, particularly around work on roofs. Please DO NOT agree to any work with people who come to your door. REPORT IT.

Anti-Social Behaviour. PLEASE REPORT IT. It's usually the same people involved and even a small incident could have links to other issues we are investigating.

Please take this further opportunity to raise any concerns you may have and to find out what we are doing to tackle the issues that matter to you.
