Hinckley NPA Commander Update – Good Work Across the Area 

Significant progress has been made across the NPA this week. A male has been arrested, charged with multiple offences and remanded in custody for a series of shop burglaries in the Hinckley area. He has been remanded by the court and will now await trial at the Crown Court.

In addition, a suspect linked to recent graffiti incidents has been identified and interviewed, with the matter now awaiting review for a formal outcome.

I’d also like to recognise outstanding work by our Operation Detect team (spree offending team), who have won the Leicestershire Police 2026 Problem Solving Award — an excellent achievement and a clear reflection of their dedication and professionalism.
