Weekly Update on Bardon Beat Priorities 

Speeding

Report of motorist regularly driving at speed along Botts Way, Coalville. Driver to be spoken too and appropriate action taken.

Further speed enforcement operations will be carried out in coming weeks. 

HGVs breaching the weight limit in Ellistown, Ibstock and Heather

Throughout the week beat officers have conducted numerous patrols in Heather, Ellistown and Ibstock.

One HGV stopped on Pisca Lane, Ibstock after being witnessed going from Ibstock Road, Ellistown through Leicester Road, Ibstock then towards Heather. TOR issued to the driver for breaching the 7.5tn weight restriction.

Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)

Numerous patrols have been conducted in Greenhill, Agar Nook and Thringstone. Two youths given words of advice around the use of E-scooters on public land.

Joint agency working with NWLDC around the use and locations of off-road bikes within the Greenhill area.
