Community Update – Cank Street 

You said:
There is ongoing anti‑social behaviour in the Cank Street area, including loitering, behaviour causing alarm and distress, littering, and signs of drug use.
 

We did:
Through regular patrols and CCTV monitoring, we identified 8 individuals responsible.

Next steps:
All 8 individuals will now be placed on the incremental approach. This is a step‑by‑step process designed to address behaviour early, using a proportionate response — starting with words of advice and warnings, and escalating to formal enforcement action if the behaviour continues.

We’ll continue to monitor the area and take action to help keep Cank Street safe and welcoming for everyone. Please keep reporting any concerns.
