Anti social behaviour |

Dear Residents,
As we move into the warmer months ☀️, we often see more people out and about enjoying the weather. While that’s great for our communities, it can sometimes lead to issues such as ongoing noise 🔊, nuisance behaviour, damage 🚧 or intimidation 😟. 👉 Reducing and responding to anti‑social behaviour is one of the Forest Beat team’s priorities this quarter, and information from residents helps us target patrols and work effectively with partner agencies. If ASB is affecting your street or local area, please don’t feel you have to put up with it. Even reports that seem minor help build a clearer picture and allow early action. 📝 Helpful tips to support reporting and problem‑solving: ✔️ Keep an incident diary – note dates, times, locations, what happened and how it affected you ✔️ Report issues as soon as possible, rather than waiting for them to build up
📣 How to report (non‑emergency): 👉 Leicestershire Police:
👉 North West Leicestershire District Council:
🚓 If there’s immediate danger or a crime in progress, always call 999 Thank you for continuing to work with us to keep our neighbourhoods safe, respectful and welcoming as we head into the summer months 💙
If you own your home or rent from a private landlord or housing association, contact the council's ASB co-coordinator on 01530 454696 or by email community.safety@nwleicestershire.gov.uk.
An Anti-social behaviour incident diary (Word Document, 0.19 Mb) will help you keep a record of incidents relating to your complaint and will assist us in handling your complaint.
