Patrols, Police Activity and local engagement
Officers have been responding to the above reports. Since our last update on the 28th of March, we have received 76 calls to Police, 15 were emergency and 9 were priority calls. Calls to Police ranged from concerns for safety, transport/roads issues and there were multiple abandoned calls (mainly accidental dials).
Whilst out on patrol, 3 youths were caught trying to get into the old building on Hinckley Road Park at around 18:00 on the 4th of April. We have also had reports of anti-social behaviour near the Outwoods where several youths are visiting the area to drink alcohol, smoke Cannabis and play loud music. We are completing patrols and working with residents in these areas to identify those involved.
Crime prevention and issues to be aware of
Please continue to be mindful around your home security, even during the day if you have popped out or at work. As we hopefully head towards the better weather, remember not to leave windows open when you are not in, Consider window alarms, Patlocks for patio doors and fence spikes. I have attached the crime reduction catalogue so get in touch if you need any further support.
