Riverside Beat Link Up |
||
|
Good evening all,
On Thursday 9th April, officers from the Riverside beat policing team and immigration authorities carried out a joint visit to a residential property on Grasmere Street following information suggesting the address may be linked to criminal activity.
During the visit, officers found that the property contained multiple sleeping areas inconsistent with normal residential use, along with items commonly associated with commercial exploitation. The property itself was found to be clean, organised, and occupied.
Several adult occupants were present. Immigration checks were conducted, and it was established that: No immediate safeguarding concerns were identified at the address. Enquiries remain ongoing, and intelligence gathered during the visit will contribute to future enforcement and safeguarding activity.
Police and immigration authorities continue to work together to address exploitation, illegal immigration, and associated criminality within the community, while ensuring appropriate welfare considerations are taken into account.
This enforcement came from information provided by you, the public, which massively assists us with investigations. If you have anything you wish to report, you can do so via 101 or via the Leicestershire Police Website and we'll help where we can.
Many thanks
