LOCAL UPDATES : 

We have had numerous reports of anti social behaviour in our community and its important we all work together to address this. 

The beat team understands concerns around Anti social behaviour and we want to reassure residents that action is being taken . The team have increased patrols in the key hot spot areas focusing on visibility and to try and deter disruptive behaviour where we can. 

We have been focusing on Narborough park and surrounding areas as well as Bradgate close and Clarence park. We also continue to monitor Fosse park and McDonalds re the issues around joy riding and have given section 59 notices and seized vehicles. 

We are working closely  with Local councils and housing providers  and community groups to take a joined approach re any ongoing neighbourhood issues so we can support victims and residents by addressing the root causes of anti social behavior in these areas. 

We are also aware of ongoing concerns involving motorbikes in the area. The team are actively trying to target the illegal use of motorbikes and e-scooters being ridden dangerously , without proper documentation or on public footpaths or green spaces. We have powers to seize vehicles used in and anti social manor. We have had a couple of leads re two offending bikes and the team are looking in into this .
