✅ Uppingham Policing Priorities – Update

Thank you to everyone who completed our recent surveys and shared your views. After reviewing your feedback, we can confirm that Uppingham’s policing priorities will remain the same for the upcoming quarter. Your continued input helps us focus on what matters most to our community. 💬👥

🚓 Anti‑Social Behaviour (ASB)

We will maintain high‑visibility patrols in hotspot areas, working closely with partner agencies to provide reassurance and deter offending. Officers will continue to engage proactively with individuals involved in ASB, offering advice or taking appropriate action when behaviour crosses the line. 👮‍♂️✨

🚔 Drug Use & Drug Dealing

We will continue to develop and strengthen our intelligence picture around those involved in drug‑related crime. This helps us deploy resources effectively, at the right places and times, to deter, disrupt, and bring offenders to justice.
We’ll keep working closely with partner agencies and the community to ensure information is shared quickly and action is taken swiftly. 🔍🤝

🚦 Road Safety (Speeding)

We will maintain a frequent and highly visible policing presence in affected areas as part of our local road safety operation. Expect to see marked vehicle patrols, routine monitoring, and regular use of the speed laser device. Offenders will be dealt with robustly where appropriate.
We’ll continue working with partner agencies, including the Road Safety Partnership mobile camera van, to identify key concern areas and request targeted deployments. 📸🚗💨
