🚓 Snapshot into the Riverside Beats working week! 🚓 Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve been up to: 🛩️ Air Ambulance Assistance at Nelson Mandela Park PCSO V and PC Fabian were quick on scene to support the Air Ambulance team, helping secure a safe landing zone so critical care teams could reach those in urgent need. 👣 Targeted Patrols in Local Hotspots Following several reports of ASB, criminal damage and threats, our officers have been patrolling Pavilion Close and Castle Gardens. Their presence aims to deter disorder and reassure residents that issues are being taken seriously. 📻 A Special Moment at Hazel Primary School PCSO Phil visited Hazel Primary School to chat with pupils—and even let reception classes send a big shout-out over our police radio to the control room! A small moment that made a big impression. 🛒 Stolen Property Recovered A member of the public alerted us to a large bag of suspected stolen goods. Officers quickly located and recovered the items, returning them to the local store—who were very grateful! 🏥 Engagement with LRI Security As the LRI point of contact, PC Fabian met with hospital security management to reinforce the importance of reporting incidents. A timely reminder that disorderly behaviour on NHS premises will not be tolerated. 💙 Supporting a Vulnerable Member of the Community PC Callum visited a vulnerable individual on our beat, ensuring the right referrals were made to provide support and help prevent further crisis situations. 🏙️ Backing Up City Centre Patrols The Riverside team stepped in to increase police visibility in the city centre after concerns of potential ASB. Thanks to proactive patrolling, no incidents of note occurred. 🌙 Ramadan Community Engagement PCSO Hafsa visited the DMU faith rooms, engaging with students and community members observing Ramadan. A great opportunity to connect and support our diverse communities. Stay Safe, Riverside beat! #inyourcommunity #YousaidWedid
