Bike Register Event – Watermead Park - Saturday 23rd May 2026 - 9am to 12pm

Dear Residents

PC 1947 Dave BENNETT & PCSO 6174 Jon HARRISON (and quite possibly PC 1651 Jason STOWELL) will be undertaking a Bike Register Event alongside the regular Park Run at Watermead Country Park on Saturday the 23rd May 2026 between 9am and 12 midday.

This is an excellent opportunity to have your bicycle registered on a national database which assists the Police recovering stolen bikes when thieves attempt to sell bikes stolen. Additionally, the Beat Team for Birstall & Wanlip (PC Dave & PCSO Jon) and the PC for neighbouring Syston & Thurmaston beat (PC STOWELL) will be happy to answer any queries, question or concerns visitors may have, and there may be some freebies to boot!
