I wanted to share a snippet of some of the work I’ve been involved in over this set of shifts across Shepshed, Loughborough and the wider Charnwood area.
ASB Patrols – Oakley Road, Shepshed
Targeted patrols have been carried out following reports of anti‑social behaviour in the area. Patch Walk – Longcliffe Road, Shepshed
I joined colleagues from Charnwood Borough Council for a community walk, speaking with residents about local concerns and feeding this back for joint problem‑solving. Visit to The Hub Educational Provision
I attended to speak with a young person regarding recent behaviour towards staff and to offer support and guidance going forward. Front Enquiry Desk Cover – Loughborough Police Station
I assisted at the front desk, helping members of the public with various enquiries. CCTV Review – Dishley Area
I have been reviewing CCTV footage linked to suspected drug‑related activity to support ongoing enquiries and intelligence gathering. Charnwood ASB Car
I spent time staffing the ASB car, attending live reports of anti‑social behaviour and patrolling priority locations including:
Market Place (Loughborough), Kinchley Lane (Quorn), and Memorial Park (Sileby). PLOD (Police Link Officer for the Deaf) Duties
Alongside my neighbourhood role, I am also a PLOD officer. On Tuesday I spent the day at the Leicester Deaf Centre, engaging with staff and members of the Deaf community. We delivered an input on current scams and offered advice on staying safe. As always, thank you for continuing to share information with us.
