During this blessed month, your local East Leicester Neighbourhood Policing Team will be supporting celebrations, places of worship, and late-evening activities across the Neighbourhood Policing Area (NPA).

Whether you are collecting food at Iftar, spending time with family and friends, or attending evening prayers, we kindly ask everyone to help ensure a safe and respectful Ramadan for all.

👮 What You Can Expect

Throughout Ramadan, you will see officers:

 • Conducting high-visibility patrols

 • Dealing with anti-social behaviour and crime

 • Providing reassurance patrols, including burglary prevention

 • Engaging with residents at key locations

This operation is being delivered in partnership with local Councillors, City Council departments (including Licensing and Parking Enforcement teams), local mosques, businesses, and community partners.

🔐 Community Safety Reminders

 • Please secure your home and vehicle when attending prayers.

 • Park legally and considerately, particularly near places of worship.

 • Report suspicious behaviour to police promptly.
