Hello Rutland,

I’m really excited to be able to say… there’s a new face patrolling our villages, lanes and country roads – and it’s me

I’m PC Holly Bland, your new Rutland North Beat Officer 👮‍♀️

I’ll be working closely with the team to focus on the things you’ve told us matter most:
🚗 Road safety across our rural routes
🏡 Burglary prevention in our homes and businesses
🌾 Rural crime affecting our farms and countryside

I’ve already started getting out and about, meeting residents and learning the patch (all 24 villages of it). I’m keen to hear about the local issues that matter to you so we can tackle them together.

Quick crime prevention reminder
With the darker evenings still hanging around, please remember to:
• Keep doors and windows locked – even if you’re just popping out
• Leave a light on if you’ll be home after dark 
• Store tools, bikes and farm kit securely – don’t make it easy for thieves
• Report suspicious activity – no matter how small it may seem

If something doesn’t feel right, please let us know. You’re never “wasting our time” by reporting your concerns.
