Good Afternoon ,
Happy New Year to you all from The NH26 Greater Hinckley Neighbourhood Beat Team. We are aware of ongoing anti-social behaviour involving groups of youths in the area. This behaviour has included repeatedly kicking and banging on residents’ front doors, with particular concern that vulnerable individuals are being targeted. We understand that these incidents have caused alarm, harassment, and distress, and we want to reassure residents that this matter is being taken seriously. Regular patrols have been put in place with neighbours supplying CCTV/RING doorbell footage. Some of the youths involved have been identified and dealt with accordingly. Residents are encouraged to: If this behaviour is happening at the time, please contact the police via 999 in an emergency or 101 for non‑emergency incidents. Reports can also be made anonymously via Crimestoppers. Information provided by residents helps us identify patterns and take appropriate action to prevent further incidents and protect those most at risk.
