🚨 Weekly Update on Bardon Beat Priorities🚨 Dear Community Members,
As we enter the new year and transition into a new quarter, we wish to provide you with an update on the Bardon Beat priorities. These priorities reflect the concerns you have highlighted and are of significant importance to our community. The Beat Team is committed to taking proactive measures to address these issues and to foster a thriving and safe environment for all residents.
☺️ New Beat Priorities:☺️
1. 🚗 Speeding🚗 : We have received numerous reports regarding speeding on local roads. In response, we have identified several locations that will be the focus of our local operations aimed at mitigating this issue. An operation is currently scheduled for January 14th, and we plan to conduct further operations throughout the quarter in Hugglescote (Grange Road), Thringstone (Loughborough Road), Ibstock (Station Road), and Heather (Pisca Lane). 2. 🅿️ Parking Outside Schools:🅿️ The challenge of parking outside schools has been consistently raised by community members. Upon the reopening of schools, we will implement proactive patrols and collaborate with local schools to develop effective solutions that enhance safety for all. The areas of concern identified thus far include Hugglescote, Ellistown, and Whitwick. A joint local services meeting with Hugglescote School is scheduled for January 9th to further address this issue. 3. 🏞️ Anti-Social Behaviour🏞️ (Greenhill and Thringstone Area):** In response to reports of door knocking in the Greenhill area, we have successfully identified the individuals involved and have taken appropriate action in accordance with their behavior. This outcome was achieved through our collaborative efforts with the community, which allowed us to gather valuable information.
We appreciate your continued support and engagement.
Kind regards,
The Bardon Beat Team #bardonbeat PCSO 6860 | ||
