As the cold weather sets in, we’re asking everyone to take a moment to look out for those who may need extra support in our community. Winter can be tough for vulnerable individuals, including the elderly, those living alone, and people with health conditions.

✅Check in on neighbours – A quick phone call or knock on the door can make a big difference.
✅ Offer practical help – Simple things like picking up shopping or clearing icy paths can help keep someone safe.
✅ Report concerns – If you’re worried about someone’s wellbeing, please contact us or the relevant support services.
✅ Emergency Lions Tub – Your neighbour may have one in their home. This contains vital medical and emergency information for responders. If you’re helping someone, check if they have one and ensure it’s up to date.
